The Month Of May

This month has been crazy. We've been on the go like no other. I went to Detroit for work and Travis stayed home with Jonathan by himself those days with him. They had great bonding time together which is awesome! Jonathan is saying more and more every single day. He tells everyone, "Hi', 'Hey', and 'Bye"and when they don't pay attention to him he screams it. He loves my dad, "Abu", as Jonathan calls him. He's obsessed with Abu. He's the only one he calls by name besides Travis and I. He looks at Abu's picture every day and talks to it. So cute. He loves Bailey and calls for him. Bailey is still not sure about him.

Jonathan is obsessed with balls. He says ball which is so funny. He loves to throw them and bounce them for us to play with him. He loves music and dancing. He tries to snap his fingers and move to the beat. I just hope he gets the latin rhythm and not his daddy's. LOL! ;)

I'm so glad he loves the pool and playing in the water. He says, "Agua-meaning water." He loves to splash around and get everyone wet. We got him his own whale pool and Mommy and Daddy seem to like getting in it just as much as Jonathan. Imagine that. The poor baby has kids as parents. LOL!

He is on the go all day everyday. He definitely makes us be on the go all day. My poor mom! She is an angel to keep him every single day. He will be starting a mother's day out on my birthday for two days a week and I know my mom is excited to get some alone time. Then, in September, he'll be going for three days a week. I hope he continues to behave well and that school makes him stop screaming! LOL!

Easter Weekend

This weekend was jam packed full of fun, parties, and celebrations. Friday, we went to El Messon to celebrate Lindsay and Lee's engagement and then we went to Alleia, to celebrate Maurice and Thali's engagement. We had a blast. Wonderful food, wonderful company, and great times. Seeing Liz and Ben made my weekend!

Saturday, Misa & Charley and Matt and Nicky hosted a wonderful Easter Party at Matt's house. Everything was beautiful and so much fun. Everything they served was spectacular. They came around serving appetizers and Jonathan knew to look for them. He loved these delicious cheese pastries. He is just like his dad on the obsession of food. He ate like a champ. During the Easter Egg Hunt, he fell a few times and rolled down the hill. So funny! He hated the Easter Bunny. Scared him half to death. He had a death grip on me, was shaking and crying. Goodness! After that party, we went to Merriwether's 5th Birthday Party. It was at the park, so Jonathan was in heaven. A whole day of being outside and getting to swing as much as he wanted to. He kept hugging on Merri. He loves her. He ate there too, imagine that!

Sunday, was Easter Sunday. We got Jonathan ready and we went to Mass. Jonathan did well, but not great. We had to feed him puffs in order for him not to complain too much. LOL! Afterwards, we went and got lunch and ice cream and hung out with my parents and he opened his gifts from the Easter Bunny that came to my parents' house. He loved everything he got. We came home, I made more Rice Krispy Eggs and Apples with Brickle Dip to take over to Tommy and Sherry's house. We had a blast over there like we always do. My parents were there, Debbie and Phil, April, Lamar, Katie, Ashley, Justin, Chad, Kerra, Hayley, Vicky, and Mark, and all the kids. We cooked out over there and had an Easter Egg hunt. April, Ashley, and I are the BEST Egg hiders! LOL! The kids had a blast. Jonathan loves to find eggs but doesn't like us to put it in the basket after he finds one. He wants to hold them all. He thinks we are stealing them from him. Makes me laugh.

The best part of Sunday, was LAMAR!!!!! I haven't laughed that hard in a while! He had a few drinks. He told Katie, that if April ever passes away, he would marry her. Then he told me that if I wore a Tater Sack, I'd still look beautiful. He told Travis that I was his second choice on a wife if April dies. LOL! Then, he talked to us about his hardest worker and that he's always late and would probably be late to his own funeral. The stuff that came out of his mouth was priceless! LOVED it! We need more weekends like this for sure with all of us together!

Easter Party

Saturday, we had an Easter Party at the house. We had an Egg Hunt for the kids and I was so excited to see how it would go and if the kids would get into it or not. We asked everyone to be at the house at 5:30. Ayden, our nephew, wanted to start the egg hunt right away since him and Kendall got there a little early. I kept telling Ayden that he had to wait until everyone got there. He asked a million times. Then, he asked, "How many kids are coming?" I said 8 kids. I could see him counting kids. Once 8 were there he kept looking at me. Travis and I had to get on to him to be patient. So funny! Once we started, Ayden took off. Kendall, on the other hand tried to help all the kids get some eggs. The sweetest thing ever. She finally took off and went searching for eggs. Connor, had so much fun finding eggs. He then realized there were pieces of candy in each egg, so he started opening the eggs and taking the candy out and dropping the eggs on the ground. So funny. Dru, was infatuated with the sheds in people's yards. He thought they were barns. He loves barns. Arianna took off from the get go to get eggs. She loved it and definitely loved eating the candy. Addie had a blast getting eggs. She might be one of the sweetest little girls I have ever met. She loves to play and have fun. All the kids helped Harper since she was too little to get eggs. Jonathan was barking at the dogs and cared more about the dogs than the eggs. Ayden and Kendall helped Jonathan fill up his basket. Jonathan has the best cousins in the world. Jonathan will always be protected by them. We all had a great time and it was a great meal full of fun. Thanks to everyone for the wonderful sides and thank you Gammy for all your help with the kids' treats!
