Megan

Yesterday, my dad did an ultrasound on Megan. She is 6 weeks and 4 days pregnant. So exciting. When watching the screen, we were all in pure anticipation to see the heartbeat. Guess what? We did and it was super strong. I was so excited that I started tearing up for her. This is an amazing time in their lives and they should enjoy every minute of it.

Megan is going to be an amazing mother. She loves and cares for people so much that once that baby is born, they will automatically be loved immensely by her. She is going to love being pregnant and that is something I wish I could have done. For that alone, I am thrilled for her. She is going to look amazing pregnant and Chris is going to adore her even more.

We just pray that it is a girl, so Jonathan can have a girlfriend. If it's a boy, no worries, he will have a best friend. I can't wait to meet the little peanut. He/She is going to be PERFECT!

P.S. Thank you Mel and Michael for a perfect time last night with a wonderful dinner. We had a blast and too much laughing (if that's possible) which is wonderful and needed. You guys are family and we love you all very much.

Jonathan

Jonathan had to match his cousin Kendall for her Elmo themed birthday. I was so excited when I found his outfit on Etsy.com. Wendy did such a wonderful job. She made him the cutest Jon Jon with the matching bib. I wanted to share some pictures of him from the party. They both looked so cute!

Kendall

Two years ago, our sweet baby niece, Kendall was born. It was one of the most exciting days of my life. I was still working at US Xpress and Ashley was in the hospital. I went and checked on her on my lunch break and then when I went Justin hadn't eaten all day. I promised him that I would bring him food. I begged my boss to let me leave work early that day. I went by Zaxby's, bought Justin and Ayden food, and went back to the hospital. I had never witnessed a birth and at this point I never thought I would. My dad was her doctor which was even more special. He came in and broke her water. Funniest thing ever. He never imagined it would come out as forceful as it did. He said, "Damnit Ashley, I didn't bring an extra pair of underwear." He jumped up like a crazy person. I laughed so hard and so did everyone else in the room. At one point she looked at us and said this baby is coming! Freaked me out. I took off to find my dad. Found him at the nurses' station. He was checking on patients. I said "Dad, it's time!" I got no response so I said it again. Again, no response. Then, I said, "Alfredo, it's time. This baby is coming." He looked up and started going her way. I was like, "Dude, hurry up!" He was so calm and it made me so mad. LOL! We got in there and sure enough, Kendall wanted to make her appearance. Ashley let me stay in there. I was so nervous. I held a leg and I was shaking as I was holding her leg. Finally, a nurse took over for me to make sure we were doing it right. Justin had the other leg and you could tell he was nervous and so thrilled to be meeting his little girl. Debbie was in there just watching everything happen. Mimi was crying, taking pictures, and super thrilled, Phil was in the corner scared to death, and I was in shock. I started to cry and then had to hold back the tears. Ashley was amazing. She did everything so quickly and did such a great job! Kendall made her appearance and it was the most amazing thing ever. She was such a beautiful, sweet, and an incredible blessing!!! I felt so lucky to have witnessed such a blessing before my eyes.Well, two years later, we were all at her birthday party. It was the most PERFECT day. The weather was amazing, the sun was shining so brightly, and everyone had a wonderful time. Ashley did an amazing job decorating. Her Elmo theme was perfect. Kendall was too cute for words and she had an amazing time. She is such a special and wonderful little girl! She is so loved and we are so lucky to be a part of such an amazing little girl's life.
